To come back or not to come back.....?

I used to keep this blog some what updated and as you can see I let it go. I'm thinking of blogging again mostly to share crafty things. I just don't know if I have the desire to keep up with it. Facebook makes me lazy. It's so easy to share on there and not have to write a post about it but on the other hand, sometimes it's nice. I guess I'll just have to see.

So what have I been up to, you ask? A lot of nothing really. LOL. No, seriously just your typical family stuff. I did start a short lived Esty store. I loved it but it got to be a little stressful (for me) and kind of took the joy out of making things. I don't do well with time lines. I like to create things at my own pace. And as this was mostly jewelry and key chains, I missed scrapbooking and paper crafting - which is what I really love. I enjoy the jewelry but I think I'd rather scrapbook if given the chance. Maybe one day I'll open it back up but I doubt I'll do custom orders. That was the most time consuming although it was what I sold the most of. Sigh.

For now I'm jumping back into the paper crafting world. Recently I've been helping my teacher friend, Morgan, decorate her classroom for the new school year.



I made most of the banners and helped to decorate the room. Isn't her room adorable?? :D

I've also been helping her with decorations for her and her sisters (she's a twin - how awesome is that?) 30th birthday party. Here are a few things I made in Silhouette Studio:

I think they turned out pretty cute. I still need to cut them out but that won't take too long.

Oh and I'm ready for the new school year - 

They turned out so cute! I love them. I also have teacher and staff gifts that I really want to post photos of but they will have to wait until after school starts so I don't ruin it for them ;)

Well I guess I should end this post now. It's getting long. I will hopefully be posting more. I do have a lot more to share :D

New October Promotion for Stampin' Up!

Got My Sizzix!

 I got my Sizzix Big Shot (113439) from Stampin' Up! and I can't wait to use it this weekend.

 I wish I could use it sooner but it looks like the weekend will have to do. I'm loving all the dies and embossing folders that Stampin' Up! has as well. I have an Epic 6 and before that had a cuttle bug but for some reason this Big Shot just called my name. It also seems much sturdier than the other 2 machines I had. 

 Oh and I finally took pictures of the cards I made. They aren't the best so I need to do a little editing or re take them. I promise to post them by this weekend (or hopefully sooner). I'm pretty excited about them. I'm not a card maker so this is a big deal for me. I just hope you all enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them.

 Well it's been a long time and I have a lot to catch up on but first my big news! I am now a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I'm so excited and a little scared too. Anyone who knows me knows that I am in no way a salesperson so this is completely out of character for me. I've always loved Stampin' Up products and thought it would be cool to sell them but I was always too scared to try. But I finally decided that it's time to step out of my comfort zone. At the very least I will be able to support my paper craft habit!

I do have some things that I've made recently that I will post later. I would have done it today but I spent the day revamping my blog as you may have noticed. I used the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper - Digital Download
to create my background, header and all the extras, including my signature! I'm loving that Stampin' Up! has digital versions of their stuff. The possibilities are endless that way. (Wow I am starting to sound like a salesperson! )

On that note I need to end this but I will be back and trying to keep this as updated as possible.

I keep debating on whether or not to keep this up. I post so seldom anymore. I like to share stuff but there are so many other sites where I share things that my blog has been neglected. And now with facebook it's so much easier to keep connected. I have more friends on facebook than I have who read my blog. So I think I'm going to call it quits. As for my SVG files, I haven't made any in a while as I have tons that I have not even used. If I happen to make a new one I will post them.
